Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 motherboard with i5 3470 and 8GB RAM

Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 motherboard with i5 3470, 8GB DDR3 1333 MHz memory (PC3-10600), cooler and I/O plate.

On the back of the board there are the usual audio and Ethernet ports, VGA, DVI and HDMI ports and a PS/2 mouse/Keyboard port. USB wise there are 2 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0 ports. Note the DVI does not support DVI to VGA adapters but does support DVI to HDMI cables.

On the motherboard itself there are 2 SATA 3.1 connectors and 4 SATA 2.2 connectors supporting up to 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s respectively.

In terms of PCIEX ports they operate as follows:
1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x16
1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x8
1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x4
1 PCI Express x1 slot
These support 2 way ATI CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI.

There are also 4 USB headers on the board for USB 2.0 supporting up to 8 additional case USB 2.0 ports.

There is a UEFI BIOS available for this board but as it is a Beta version I did not install it. I currently have the F10 BIOS version installed.
