Not working Acorn CRT monitor for Commodore Amiga.
I'm selling it because I do not have the tools to repair it.
The issue should be related to the flyback, which after 35 years has reached the end of its life.

The power switch is also stuck in the "on" position. This is common with this type of old switch.

Please contact me only if you are able to repair it.

Hi. Thank you for contacting me. The monitor was working fine and suddenly turned off completely and started making a high-frequency sound. The screen is off. Reading online, the issue should be the flyback that controls high voltage is shorted, therefore the security system discharges the high voltage to protect the circuits, which is the reason for the sound.
