BenQ uses a strong matte filter, so it makes the screen appear granny in bright scenes and text is not as clear.
The monitor had it's matte anti-glare coating removed which makes it a glossy panel. The benefit is that the picture is much clearer now.
There's a dead pixel which didn't appear from usage, but some pointy thing like a needle pressed into the screen (see photos) and now there's a permanent white dot, size about a pixel. I used the monitor for a year after it appeared with no issues.

HDR10 can look great with some adjusting.
The monitor arm has a lot of wear and tear, hence why it's free.
