Tri-ang Railways LMS Princess Elizabeth 6201 OO Gauge

Vintage Tri-ang Railways LMS Princess Elizabeth No. 6201, 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive in original maroon livery, complete with matching LMS tender.

Carefully dismantled, cleaned and serviced, including remagnetising the original X.04 motor. All original components retained.

The locomotive is in good cosmetic condition and runs smoothly in both directions on straight and curved track (tested with Hornby R607 curves).

Known issues and repairs:
• One wheel on the leading bogie has a crack, although this has not affected performance during testing.
• Some binding has been observed when negotiating modern points, possibly due to the original wheel profiles.
• An electrical short to the chassis was identified and resolved using insulation tape on the affected wheel, as detailed in the restoration write-up.
