Original 1960's 00 gauge metal kit trains.

Prefer to sell as a collection as it is possible some parts have become mixed over the years. I've done my best to identify what's what!

Train No. 1:
K's kits GWR 57xx Class 0-6-0 pannier tank. Partially assembled with epoxy glue. Comes with motor (K's Keyser Mk1 12v DC), transfer set and other parts. NOTE: no wheels or associated parts, chassis or instructions.

Train No. 2:
WILLS finecast LMS Class 29 0-6-0 tank (can be BR if preferred). Also can be built as a Class 782 using different top parts for a none-condenser type version; parts included). Booklet included. NOTE: no wheels or associated parts, motor or transfers. (Can supply with a K's Keyser Mk1 5 pole 12v DC motor with part of the power pickup (motor with orange wire attached)). Triang chassis should be used.

Train No. 3:
BEC kits LNER J72 Class 0-6-0 saddle tank. Partially assembled. Small parts appear missing, but may be mixed in with the GWR train parts. I've included 4 x brass buffers which may be suitable. Parts/ assembly sheet present.
NOTE: no wheels or associated parts, or chassis. Sheet notes that a Triang R52 chassis should be used.

Train No. 4:
TRIX model No. 2111. Brittania 70000 4-6-2 tender locomotive. Appears almost fully assembled, and complete. Includes diagrams and assembly instructions, transfers, motor (TRIX Express TE-288), wheels, pistons etc.

All kits stored since 1974 when my Dad dismantled his layout. I have no idea if what's been done was his handiwork or were they bought s/h like this. I can include an original 1960's bag of epoxy flakes for anyone that fancies assembling the traditional way!

Could be perfect for an engineering/ train building scene on a layout.

NOTE ON COMPATABILITY:

1960'S trains (such as Hornby Dublo) will not suit certain modern track/ layouts: Hornby Dublo is fine on modern code 100 track, but not code 75 track. Typical modern Hornby track (and railway sets) is code 100; if you have 'finescale' it's code 75. Peco also do suitable 00/HO code 100, and their streamline track is code 75 (not suitable). Code 75 is a more realistic/ life like scale for layouts with fine details etc.

€85.
