H.M.S. Bounty, Mint Condition Constructo Modelismo Brand Wooden Model Kit in a scale of 1:50, BNIB, Still Cellophane Sealed, 100s of Sealed Wooden Pieces, Metal Hardware and Finished Sails

Brand New, from 2000!

A Truly Fabulous Wooden Model Kit, that I bought over 20 years ago, but I have never had the time to build, or even start!!!! Hence the fact that the box still has the cellophane on it!! So deffo not a single piece missing.

This is a 1:50 scale set, so a large one with the finished model measuring 38.75 inches/73 cm in length, 11.75 inches/30cm in width and 24 inches/61cm in height, when the model is complete. The box is 26 inches in length.

This is a really quality set, in mint condition, just ready for the person who will actually get around to making it!
They retail online for upwards of €400, plus shipping/insurance costs, and are rare enough to find unopened. (see the last couple of photos for online examples.)

The set comes complete with an instruction manual with step by step photos of the assembly process.
I think there are some Utube video’s online, with model maker’s making this exact kit.
There are model makers’ forums online which would also be helpful, if building this kit with little experience.

The H.M.S. Bounty, a merchant ship, filled out as a frigate, will always be remembered for the mutiny organised by Fletcher Christian, in 1789, during a voyage to Tahiti. Christian and the other mutineers forced the ship’s captain, Captain Bligh, to abandon the ship in an open longboat together with 18 crew members who were loyal to him, and only a few provisions. After a hazardous voyage of nearly 4,00 miles, the 18 sailors managed to reach the island of Timor.

This is such a fabulous set, and hard to come by, I will not be accepting any low-ball offers on it. If it doesn’t sell I‘ll get round to making it up when I retire lol!!!!
