Diecast Vintage Solido Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 (GT/E) - Very Good Original Condition

Being sold from my personal model collection is a pre-owned vintage Solido 100 Serie 1:43 scale diecast model of a Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 (GT/E).

** VERY GOOD CONDITION MODEL THAT DISPLAYS VERY WELL **

* Model produced from 1958 until 1968. During this time there were several versions as modifications were made to the production process etc.
* Solido 123 is a diecast model of a Ferrari 250 GT 2+2, also known as the GT/E. The model has opening doors, tipping front seatbacks, wire wheels, spring suspension and a riveted base. It was available in silver, red and blue.

* Using a Long Wheelbase (LWB) version of the 250GT chassis Ferrari developed the 2+2 model also called the 250 GT/E. This was Ferrari's first large production four-seater. Fitted with the Colombo designed Ferrari Tipo 125 V12 of 2,953cc (180 cu in) the power output of the GT/E was listed at 237 bhp. This engine had a single overhead camshaft for each bank of cylinders, two valves per cylinder and three Weber 40 DCL 6 carburettors. Almost 1,000 GT/Es were constructed by Pininfarina with prototypes starting in 1959 and continuing through three series until 1963.

* Model is in very good original condition but has a small number of visible raised sections on the bonnet. These may be caused by flaws in the metal under the paint - see photograph. Paint is not cracked in this area, and they don't appear to be paint blisters.
* Please examine photographs for condition of model.
* Model has been on display in a glass fronted cabinet.
