Diecast Model Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W198) - Collectable Vanguards 1:43

Pre-owned 1:43 scale model from Lledo "European Vanguards" of a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster being sold from my personal model collection.

* 2002 Lledo Collectible issue of "European Vanguards". Limited Edition No 455 of 5,000.
* The 300SL Roadster (W198) was the open top variant of the Mercedes-Benz 300SL. Introduced in 1957, the roadster was the successor to the famous 300SL Gullwing and was created to appeal to the Californian market. These cars featured two traditional passenger doors and a folding cloth roof. The 300 SL Roadster featured the high compression version of the Mercedes-Benz M198 engine. This 3.0 Litre (2,996cc) in-line six-cylinder engine generated 240 bhp. The car was fitted with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Roadster production ran from 1957 until 1963, with a total of 1,858 examples built.
* Model comes with all its original packaging and information cards.
* Model has been on display in a glass fronted cabinet. Cardboard packaging and cards were carefully stored, separately, away from light and damp.
