Yamaha MG12XU x 2 repairs project
Two Yamaha MG12XU desks with a couple of faults
Desk 1: PFL circuit is stuck on so stereo meters and PFL monitoring over headphones does not work. Everything else works
Desk 2: the built-in SPX FX don’t work. Channel 9 line in is dead. Stereo assign button on Channel 1 is missing
Apart from these issues they work very well. A nice project, you could make one fully working desk out of the two. Or just use them the way they are as they work very well.
