Midas Venice 160 / MIDI Analog Studio In A Rack

Midas 160 mixer, very clean with hard to find rack ears in a rack on wheels. Great small project studio setup or for a small live act. One or two very mildly scratchy pots, faders are really smooth, direct outs for multitracking. Excellent sound quality - these mixers are very well regarded for their preamps, EQ and summing.

I have this set up as a hardware studio in a rack, drums, bass synth, two polyphonic voices, patch controller and a very capable master sequencer. Spare channels for another drum machine, keyboard, sampler, eurorack etc.

Cables are setup so I can put the sequencer and patch editor on a bench and everything is within reach from your chair - very productive setup.

Roland Super Quartet - TR-707 drums/Juno 106/SH-101 type sounds - Very handy patch controller

Alesis "daft punk" compressor and TLA 4 Band Fully Parametric Valve EQ with some serious mojo when driven hard - Master bus or for mixing.

Squarp Pyramid Multitrack Sequencer - DAW in a box, lots of MIDI FX, no limits on step count, Euclidian mode, nothing else like it.

It could use a 19" power strip to tidy up the cables but the power strip included does the job. Mixer comes with original sides for use out of a rack.

If I cant sell as a set I probably want to keep the EQ and the sequencer - the rest can be negotiated on.

Mixer + Rack = 950
EQ = 600
Compressor = 125
Super Quartet = 1500
Pyramid = 500

3500 for everything shown with an Alesis nanoverb (no PSU, 30 euro online), extra cables and your choice of a Korg Electribe Sampler or Zoom H4n recorder thrown in to sweeten the deal.

3200 with Korg SQ64 or Zaquencer instead of the Pyramid - Both great sequencing options with this setup too.

No lowball offers, I put a lot of time, effort and care into building this rig. It all sounds fantastic, lush and warm and you can compose, dial in your sounds, mix and record very fast and efficiently.

Swaps - Smaller lighter mixer like soundcraft FX16, SSL six, X desk, big six or a 500 series rack/EQ/compressors or outboard summing type unit, interesting synths, NAVA 909 clone, eurorack case full of nice things, analog outboard gear, polyend tracker, digital retro effects in 19"

Thanks for looking.

This is probably a long shot but would you have any interest in s wapping the Midas 160 for the Midas 320? I have one but I'm interested in streamlining to a rackable version.

@kevin.morrissey.146: Hi Kevin, It is mk1, but the there are virtually no differences as they all use the same firmware.

I had a mk2 before and this one is actually in much better condition. Viurtually new. It is an amazing sequencer and very useful to me so I am only selling it with the complete setup as a bundle. Original box, overlay, power supply and SD card. Thanks
