Fine Carved Mahogany Oval Wall Mirror

The finest quality oval wall mirror in a deep, rich mahogany frame, topped with a bold pierced crest of carved acanthus leaves and scrolling foliage, centred on a shell-and-plume cartouche. A matching carved apron of acanthus scrolls graces the base, lending the piece an elegant, balanced silhouette.
The superb wooden frame is made of solid mahogany, with a warm, glossy finish that catches the light beautifully. The original bevelled mirror plate retains a crisp, finely cut edge and a clear, bright reflection.
A superb statement piece for a hallway, drawing room, dining room or above a console table, and equally at home in a period interior or a more contemporary setting.
Dimensions: 94cm (37") high × 52cm (20½") wide × 4cm (1½") deep
