Vintage Philips EL6052 / Schoeps CM61 tube microphone

A rare Philips EL6052/00 with original EL6051 capsule. As I understand it is the same microphone as the Schoeps CM61.

Features two switchable polar patterns, cardioid and omni directional.

Comes with original power supply, case and cables as pictured.

It still works great and sounds absolutely gorgeous, but needs to be left for a half hour or so for the tube to warm up inside. There is a very slight bit of white noise present but it decreases once warmed up.

I have made some simple audio recordings to show the sound of the microphone in both polar positions which you can find at the link below. All recorded with the mic positioned halfway between the acoustic guitar and vocal to capture both simultaneously. No EQ used just a small bit of compression into a very basic focusrite Scarlett interface.
