Dior Eau Sauvage Vintage (American version)
Vintage version in the American Market, the cap and smell from the original. 95ml left of 100ml.
In this vintage Cologne version from the 70s and 80s, the citrusy bergamot opening and the oakmoss in the dry-down are noticeably more intense and dense than in modern, reformulated versions.
Kouros Style / Retro Barbershop: It displays an animalic, earthy, and powerful character with dark soapy undertones, reminiscent of the body and strength of 80s icons like Kouros (YSL) or Antaeus (Chanel).
Oakmoss and Indolic Jasmine: A very high concentration of natural oakmoss (now banned in modern perfumery) is perceived, combined with a mature and spicy jasmine/hedione with carnation, giving it a very masculine, warm, and deep profile.
Woody Drydown: The base evolves into a resinous vetiver and patchouli with excellent staying power on the skin.
