It takes the talent of Master Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour’s to balance and fine tune so many elements with an assured hand and a steady soul in order to give shape to one of the most influential perfumes of the last ten years.

The two main pillars of the fragrance are Frankincense, the finest, pure Omani one as Amouage has accustomed us to, and Oud. Hold on tight to them, because there’s a whirlwind of different accords swirling around in a good natured, decadent frenzy: intense berry juiciness, sweet liquor soaked roses, luscious spiced honey, balsamic woods, smoky resins and sensual musks.

And yet, in spite of all the richness, there’s a soaring, weightless feeling to this fragrance. It’s like being lifted into the sky alongside the incense and myrrh vapours, floating blissfully above grand palaces, majestic temples and regal processions.
