Original World War II era British Mk II steel helmet shell.

This is the classic "Brodie" style helmet used by British and Commonwealth forces during the war. It is a "stripped shell," meaning the internal fabric liner and the chinstrap are missing, making it a perfect project piece for a restorer or historical re-enactor.

Condition: Solid steel with natural age rust and patina. No holes or structural damage. The stainless steel rim is intact.

Markings: Faint manufacturer/date stamps are visible on the inside brim (see photos).
