Rare vintage 'World's End' striped cotton unisex scarf with tassels in mint condition from Fall 1981 'Pirate Collection'. It was the influential Punk Rock/Pirate-themed
collection by fashion duo Vivienne Westwood & Malcolm McLaren. The garment was designed to be worn as a waist sash, scarf or shawl. It carries the label of Vivienne Westwood's famous boutique 'World's End', Kings Road, London which 'street' provocateur designer Westwood opened in 1979 with her then partner,  designer and music manager of Sex Pistols and other bands, McLaren. A highly collectible museum piece from the post-Punk aesthetic of the New Romantics. In like-new condition; no flaws, never worn. One seen in photographic record of the V&A Museum collection.
