A rare collection of vintage Sligo Books, including:
-1. Hardback -A Sligo Miscellany by John C. mc Ternan.
Published in 2000, it is the third volume in the series, “Olde Sligoe” and “In Sligo Long Ago”. It is a compendium of miscellaneous material relating to Sligo’s past from the 18th century.
2. The Aftermath of RevolutionSligo 1921-23, Michael Farry. The book with illustrations traces the reasons for the increased militancy , and traces the social and economic consequences of the war.
3. Maeve de Markievicz: daughter of Constance , written by Clive Scoular. Maeve was the only child of Constance Markievicz, one of Ireland’s foremost women and heroines and the book charts her life and focuses on the bond between mother & daughter.
All three in excellent condition.
