Beautiful set of vintage Irish military mess plates, made by Carrigaline Vitrified, Ireland.
Each plate features the Óglaigh na hÉireann / Irish Defence Forces style crest to the front and the original Carrigaline Vitrified Ireland maker’s mark on the back.
Approx. 25 cm diameter.
These are strong, heavy-quality vitrified plates, originally made for institutional / military mess use. A lovely collectible piece of Irish history — ideal for collectors of Irish militaria, Defence Forces memorabilia, Carrigaline pottery, vintage Irish tableware, or for display.
Condition is very good vintage condition overall, with light age-related marks from use/storage. Please see photos.
