Details from google:
The image shows two gold-colored Irish Artillery Corps collar badges. These vintage brass badges were used by the Irish Defence Forces from approximately the 1930s until 1970.
Key Characteristics
Design: The badge features the Maid of Éire (Hibernia) sitting on a cannon and holding a harp.
Inscriptions: The banner at the bottom contains the Irish text "An Cór Airtléireachta," which translates to "The Artillery Corps".
Usage: These specific brass versions were primarily used as collar or lapel badges for "Number One" dress uniforms. In 1970, these brass versions were largely replaced by "staybright" (anodized aluminum) insignia.
