Vintage Gillette Techmatic Adjustable Razor Set - Cased & Boxed (Apollo Era Collectible)

Up for grabs is a complete, vintage Gillette Techmatic Adjustable razor set from the late 1960s / early 1970s

This is a fantastic piece of shaving history. The Techmatic system used a unique continuous steel band cartridge rather than loose blades, which famously made it NASA’s choice for the Apollo lunar missions because there were no loose blades to float around in zero gravity!

This complete set includes:

Original Gillette Techmatic Adjustable razor handle (features the "LO" to "HI" exposure dial).
Original outer cardboard display box (shows some vintage edge wear, original £4.00 sticker still attached).
Clear plastic inner presentation case.
Original instruction booklet/paperwork.
One vintage band-razor cartridge.
