Vintage bronze 25th coronation anniversary medal
Beautiful bronze medal issued by The Royal commonwealth Society on the 25th anniversary of the coronation of queen Elizabeth II.
Issued in 1978 this bronze medal was designed by Fattorini and engraved by David Cornell. These were minted by Franklin Mint (The Franklin Mint), Wawa, Pennsylvania, United States.
One side of the medal has raised, frosted engraving the head of Queen Elizabeth II in the center surrounded by the heads of earlier British sovereigns. The other side has The Royal Commonwealth Society in large letters inside an intricately detailed outer ring.
The medal is 2.1/2 inches(6.3 cm) in diameter. Weighs 133.8 grams.
This medal is in good vintage condition.
