US WW2 McCord 1942 Fixed bale rear seam M1 helmet with Vietnam P64 liner

Nice early ww2 1942 McCord fixed bale with plenty of original paint and textured cork finish. I do not believe it was ever re painted. Some dents on the top from use and a split on the left bale side as it was a common stress point. Still a great example that displays well. There is a service number and name to the interior which I have not researched. The bales are in good nick and there is very little rusting etc.

helmet came with the P64 late Vietnam era liner which has clearly been used a lot and has two decals on either side which I have been in able to identify. Has nape strap which is nice to see. The chinstrap is a late 70s early 80s type.

A nice set purchased in the states which has clearly had a long service history. Could also be nice to put a ww2 liner with the shell as I can’t guarantee the liner with it belongs.
