Unique Guinness Silver Medal

This is a vintage sterling silver award medal from the St. James’s Gate Fanciers & Industrial Association, which was established in 1895.
St. James's Gate is world-famous as the home of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. This association was a staff/community horticultural, livestock ("fanciers" referring to poultry, pigeon, or dog breeding), and industrial craft society set up for the brewery's employees and the local community.
Medal Details
Front (Obverse): Features an unengraved shield (intended for the winner's name or category) above a ribbon reading "FOUNDED 1895". The outer rim reads: "ST. JAMES'S GATE FANCIERS & INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION" accented by a shamrock.
Back (Reverse): Features a large stylized monogram interwoven with the letters of the association, bordered entirely by a wreath of shamrocks.
Edge (Hallmarks): The rim features official British hallmarks stamped in Birmingham (indicated by the Anchor mark) alongside the Lion Passant (confirming solid .925 sterling silver).
