The Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (5th Class)

The Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (5th Class) is a high-ranking Polish state decoration, established in 1921, awarded for outstanding service to the state. The decoration takes the form of a white-enameled Maltese cross with an eagle and the inscription "Polonia Restituta."

Class: This is the fifth and final class of the Order of Polonia Restituta.

Appearance: A gold Maltese cross enameled in white. The obverse features an eagle on a red background surrounded by a blue ring with the inscription "Polonia Restituta." The reverse bears the date "1944" (during the communist era).

Suspension: The cross is suspended from a 36 mm wide red ribbon with white stripes.
