Rare receipt Property Defence Association Dublin 1897 ephemera
Rare receipt from the Property Defence Association, originally formed during the Irish land war. This receipt, dated 1897, is for services rendered by the association to the estate of Colonel Villiers Stuart. A note on the back refers to a caretaker at Ballygorey which is in County Kilkenny.
The association's office was at 4 Henrietta Street, Dublin.
