Rare 1975 Czechoslovakia Liberation Medal - 30th Anniversary (WWII)
For sale is an original Czechoslovak Commemorative Medal issued in 1975 to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Army (1945–1975). This is a significant piece of Cold War-era military history.
Key Features:
Front: High-relief design showing a Czechoslovak soldier and a partisan holding submachine guns and flowers, symbolizing the end of WWII. Includes the text: "Společně v boji za vítězství" (Together in the struggle for victory).
Back: Features a five-pointed star and the inscription: "Tridsiate výročie oslobodenia Československa Sovietskou armádou".
Material is Bronze.
Excellent vintage condition with a clear strike. The original red moiré ribbon is intact and attached to the correct brass suspension bar with a intact ribbon and pin.
This medal was awarded to veterans and participants of the resistance movements. A perfect addition for collectors of Eastern Bloc, Soviet, or WWII memorabilia.
