My honest answer is that I don't know. It was framed a few years ago.

I sold a poster during covid that was framed, but like yourself the buyer wasn't interested in the frame. I removed the poster and there was no damage or evidence of taping after removing it. If I were to hazard a guess, there was some taping on the rear to secure it in place. It was done professionally by Art and Frame in Cork. He's framed well over 20 pieces for me and knows how rare some of the pieces are, so he factors in potential permanent damage and does his best to avoid future issues when framing.

The photos may not show it. But the frame is really good and matches the poster well.
