Original WWII Atlantic Star Medal - Battle of the Atlantic
Genuine British WWII Atlantic Star campaign medal. Issued for service in the Battle of the Atlantic (1939–1945). Features the GRI VI royal cipher and the original "watered" blue, white, and green ribbon. Nice original patina, uncleaned. A great piece of naval history.
The Atlantic Star was awarded for operational service in the Atlantic and home waters between 3 September 1939 and 8 May 1945.
