An incredible, 100% original piece of historic British and Irish motoring history.

This is an authentic door fingerplate (push plate) dating from approximately the 1920s to 1940s.

Perfect statement piece for a home bar, traditional pub decor, garage, workshop, or a dedicated petroliana collection.

Design: Features the iconic early Shell pecten logo, striking red and black block lettering, and ornate fleur-de-lis accents on a vibrant yellow background.

Shape: Beautifully stamped, shaped wavy top and bottom profile (not a flat modern reproduction).

Dimensions: Measures approximately 30cm high x 9.5cm wide.

Condition & Authenticity Note:
This sign has a fantastic, honest patina from decades of use. The front face remains bright with excellent color density, making the graphics highly legible. There is natural enamel chipping and rust oxidization along the edges, shoulders, and around the mounting holes. The reverse side features the classic mottled blue/grey vitreous ground-coat characteristic of early manufacturing, showing heavy natural rust scaling across the center.
