This is a Swiss bronze commemorative medal designed by the renowned Swiss sculptor and engraver Henri Huguenin.
It commemorates the First Assembly of the League of Nations (Première Assemblée de la Société des Nations) held in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 15, 1920.
Description
Obverse (Front): Features a stylized kneeling nude figure planting an olive branch with the inscription "PAX" (Peace) beneath, signed near the rim by Huguenin.
Reverse (Back): Inscribed with the text: "GENEVE / 15 NOVEMBRE 1920 / PREMIERE ASSEMBLEE / DE LA / SOCIETE DES NATIONS".
