The Irish Press produced a comprehensive 48-page special supplement on June 20, 1932, to mark the
31st International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin. This souvenir publication celebrated the massive religious gathering, which saw approximately one million people attend a High Mass in Phoenix Park, highlighting it as a triumph of faith and national identity for the young Irish Free State.
Includes a range of photographs of key individuals, articles of topical issues of the time and some very interesting advertisements.
In good condition for its age, with some tears on cover page but otherwise in solid condition.
