Holy Door year medal

Central Figure: Pope Pius XII (Eugenio Pacelli), who reigned from 1939 to 1958.
The Four Major Basilicas: Surrounding the Pope are the four Papal Basilicas of Rome, which pilgrims are traditionally encouraged to visit:
St. Peter's (San Pietro) at the top.
St. John Lateran (San Giovanni) on the left.
St. Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore) on the right.
St. Paul Outside the Walls (San Paolo) at the bottom.
Reverse Side: Features the Porta Santa (Holy Door) with the inscriptions ROMA, ANNO SANTO, and the date 1950.
Significance
The year 1950 was designated a "Jubilee Year" by the Catholic Church. The Holy Door depicted on the back is only opened during these Jubilee years.
