Edward VII, accompanied by Queen Alexandra, as part of a Royal visit to Manchester. visited Salford on 13th July to unveil the Lancashire Fusiliers' Boer War memorial, created by George Frampton, it sits at the corner of Chapel Street and Oldfield Road. It is known as the "Cheering Fusilier"

Condition: Good overall - no damage - some handling marks and small brown spots - slightly faded but still clear - see all images for condition.

Dimensions: 17 5/8" wide x 18 3/4" high

A nice example of a rare souvenir from the 1905 Royal visit to Salford which will look great when framed.
