antique toy stuffed dog. made in ireland
Extremely rare toy made in Ireland in 1930 when a toy factory was set up in Erris co Mayo to bring industry to the west. Straw filled with both eyes and all stitching intact. Some hair loss and inside ears with mothing but this can't be seen when on display. Fully intact tag which makes the piece stand out Breagain iorruis, deantus na Gaeltachta. Cant find another one on line. Stands 12 inches high and 14 inches long
