Antique Sterling Silver School Medal The Dane Medal Science Enniskillen Royal School Boxed

Beautiful antique sterling silver school prize medal in its original presentation box.
The medal is marked “The Dane Medal – Science” with the motto “Floreat Portora” on the front. The reverse reads “Schola Regia Juxta Enniskillen” with the date 1618 and a royal coat of arms design.
It comes in its original fitted box from Sharman D. Neill Ltd, Goldsmiths to the King, Donegall Place, Belfast.
The medal is hallmarked silver and weighs approximately 22.83g. Lovely antique patina and age-related toning, not polished. A very nice collectible piece connected with Enniskillen / Portora Royal School history.
