A fantastic piece of Irish local history from Ferns, Co. Wexford, associated with a local tea, wine and spirit merchant.
Traditional two-tone salt-glazed stoneware with original handle and old cork still present. The merchant's name and lettering remain exceptionally clear and make this a particularly interesting piece of Wexford advertising and commercial memorabilia.
The flagon is in unrestored condition and has a long crack to the body, clearly shown in the photographs. It has been left completely original rather than repaired.
Ideal for a collector of Irish stoneware, old pub memorabilia, Wexford history, advertising ware or local Ferns memorabilia.
