Antique British Military Hat Box
Pre WWI British military officers toleware hat box. Made by Mcbride & Sons London/Woolwich before 1910. Copper lined for storing and transporting an officer’s dress hat, shako, helmet, or ceremonial uniform items.
It has been repainted but still bears the officers' initials.The original japanned finish can be seen underneath. Not without its bumps and knocks (see pictures for condition) A very decorative and collectable item.
