1989 Jerrycan 20L Fuel Can

20-litre fuel canister, clearly stamped with the date of 1989.

This is a fantastic piece of military history, featuring the classic German triple-handle layout and the iconic indented "X" reinforcement ribs.

Details & Features:

Capacity: 20 Litres (Stamped "20L" on the reverse side)

Mechanics: The quick-release cam-lock cap and closure mechanism are fully intact and operate smoothly.

Condition: Solid structural condition. The steel is sturdy with normal age-related surface rust and pitting, but it has NO structural rot or rust-through holes. The bottom is intact. No rust internally.

Paint: Retains areas of its original dark finish. There is yellow paint applied along the center X-ribs on both sides from historical workshop use. It has been left completely untouched to preserve the original base patina beneath—no harsh chemicals or abrasives have been used.

The canister has been completely drained and vented.
