Guy Gardner is a 45 issue ongoing series published by DC Comics from October 1992 through July 1996. After its first sixteen issues, it was retitled Guy Gardner: Warrior for the remainder of its run. The series is a continuation of the limited series Guy Gardner Reborn (Volume 1) and stars former member of the Green Lantern Corps Guy Gardner as he acquires first a new Yellow Power Ring and later develops new powers as he discovers his heritage as a descendant of the alien race of Vuldarians.

Issues Included:

#1: No longer a Green Lantern, he's just plain Guy and he's determined to become one of the meanest guys in comics. Guy has new powers, a new costume...but the same old nasty attitude. Now that the Green Lantern Corps and the Justice League aren't holding him back any more, he's free to pursue his own bloodthirsty agenda! And to kick things off, Guy faces his greatest challenge as he cleans up New York City, a program that progresses smoothly enough until the Guardians send his old buddy Kilowog to retrieve Guy's ring.

#2: Without his power ring, Guy goes up against three super-powered aliens. Plus, the Guardians have sent Kilowog to retrieve Guy's ring, leaving Guy feeling totally deserted.

#3: It's an all-fight issue as Guy gets in a slugfest with a big, ugly, powerful alien who just wants to pound Guy into the ground.

#4: Everybody loves Guy...well, almost everybody. One exception is the assassin who takes his shot and doesn't miss. Ice shows up just as the bullet hits its mark and it ends with what may well be the final fight between Ice and Guy.
