2000AD Mirror - Brian Bolland

20cm × 30cm, framed, with Judge Dredd artwork by Brian Bolland in red, black and mirrored/silver areas, together with the 2000 AD – Featuring Judge Dredd logo. The Bolland artwork appears to be based on his cover for Prog 146. The banner is 2000AD, but prog 146's was 2000AD and Tornado. Also, there are parts of the reproduction which don't appear on the cover at all (mostly block windows lighted up), which suggested to me that whoever carried out the reproduction had access to the original art.

I bought it from a comic shop in Dublin somewhere around 35–40 years ago, but beyond that I'm afraid I don't know its provenance. There's no label, manufacturer's mark or copyright information that I can see on the back, so I don't want to make any claims about whether it was officially licensed merchandise, a limited-run item, etc.

The interesting thing is that the artwork seems to be beneath/protected by the glass rather than printed onto the front surface — the front is completely smooth to the touch.
