Thanks for this. So still looking to use this as a donor for another machine. Is there any way you can check the iCloud lock status a little further? As in, maybe plug it into a display to determine that it isn’t locked? Or alternatively can you offer a return/refund if is locked? Lastly, I could bring along a portable display to check that way

Sure. Wanted to see if there was a possibility of doing a better deal on a partial trade. Have an A2159 MBP that has what I think is a bit of water damage on the logic board. Nothing really visual but think there are a couple of blown caps on the power end of things. I don’t have the skills to diagnose down to surface mount component level. Question is whether you’d interested in taking this logic board & Touch ID in part exchange ?
