@kaiviti ah no worries. Thats why i love my fuji xt1 all manual update made the results can be seen through the eyepiece immediately and all controls are easy old style switches/knobs on a small light body easy to make changes on the fly without having to take camera away and look down as you see the output in the eyepiece being its mirrorless . Of course for off camera flash that doesn't apply but that goes for all cameras your not going to know until after the first flash has fired what you going to get on the first flash after that once its set your sorted same consistent light
Off camera flash is what makes you go from dsl.photos that essentially look like cellphone images at a higher quite to professional eyepoping portraits !

Thanks for all the info! I've been using a DX DSLR for a while but am dipping my toe into 35mm film with a recent-ish nikon that has many DSLR features so I reduce my culture shock though I use some manual primes with my DSLR so that isn't an issue. However I have found out that AI lenses reduce the metering options on my camera too so although I know this is a great lens I'm going to leave it for the time being. Thanks again and GLWS!

@kaiviti im im the walkinstown greenshills area. I guess I could revolute and post but obviously collection always better so everthing can be checked out on your end and in person and all that . I actually have the corresponding nikor 200mm lens 2.8 lens again in great condition same as the 135 despite its age .

i just havent gotten around to posting that one up yet you might be interested in that one too :). I have that current 135 up on Ebay at a higher price obviously with a few current watchers on it . It really is a fabulous lens if your happy to slow down and take things all manual as ln in all manual settings again the way photography should be. The look is unlike anything else even beating modern 1000 euro plus lens . I used it with a converter on my fuji and a cheap off camera flash and unbrella I got some amazing portrait pics of my kids from it that are burnt in my brain forever. Fuji camers are fantastic as it has a digital mode to help with manual focus and a digital zoomed in image while looking through eye piece so you can get focus on say the eye perfectly
The best of modern tech with the superior optical quality of the older lens .
