€650 OFFERED
Okay, I'll give you asking then. Are you still happy to include the filters as well? You said on the 52mm filter ad you'd do them all for €650

@troyzer So, now, I found the second screw in holder with L37C filter, so the two holders are screw in and drop in and one filter

It says so in the manual, page 17:

https://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/archive/AF-S%20Nikkor%20ED%20300mm%20f-2.8%20D%20IF.pdf

The reason is because all telephotos with drop in filters incorporate them as part of the optical formula. They are not designed to be used without one, otherwise it won't focus to infinity properly.

I think the price is fair and I would pay it but those drop in filters are surprisingly hard to find. I'm probably going to have to get the gelatin filter holder instead and gelatin which I don't usually use.

Unless the gelatin holder is in the box? They sold with both of them.

@troyzer I have never seen or even heard that the lens technically does not work properly without filters. I'm not in a hurry to sell, so the requested price is very fair.

What is your absolute best price? I've done a bit of research and getting a replacement L37C or getting a gelatin drop in and filters instead is probably going to cost at least €50 and the lens technically doesn't work properly without it.

@troyzer there is drop in filters and it’s only a holder without filters
2 days
Okay cool, let me know because those drop in filters look a bit tricky to find.

@troyzer i will check later but i think one filter in it, not 100% sure

@troyzer screw in, you can buy them filters separately

Wait, is it the gelatin holder or screw in holder.

I'll get back to you. Have to figure out how hard/expensive it is to replace the filter.

@troyzer no and no offer below asking price

So the filter holder is just empty at the moment? Nothing in it?

@troyzer no filter

Do you have the original UV drop in filter or just the holder?
