This is the best value for money you'll find on Nikon lens here on Adverts.
Nikon 70-200mm f/4G AF-S VR is the perfect (compact for its range and weather-resistant"!") lens for anyone who enjoys outdoor photography (e.g. street photography, landscapes, animals, people - portraits(!), travel experiences, etc.) or macro(!). But also for studio portraits it is absolutely not lost in comparison to, for example, the 70-200 F2.8 – this lens I am selling has a longer reach and its minimum focus distance is much shorter.
This lens shows some signs of use of a cosmetic nature (colour marked on one of the attached photos, not caused by falling but by abrasion) – it is fully functional, without any technical or optical defects!
Also in the opinion of experts, this is one of the sharpest zoom lenses ever made (max sharp even at 200mm).
It costs around 1600 EUR new.
This lens is normally (based on its compactness) sold without the RT-1 tripod collar as standard. The original Nikon tripod collar RT-1 costs over 200 Euros. I will add an unbranded (but perfectly sufficient) tripod collar (in the attached photo) FOR FREE.
"It has the same extraordinary optical quality as the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II... If you compare Nikons MTF curves, this new lens is even a bit better than the 70-200/2.8 VR II."
Another review:
"As you may already know, the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II was a disappointment for some photographers, because it suffers from a “lens breathing” optical design, where the focal length of the lens varies depending on subject distance. At close distances, the 70-200mm loses quite a bit of the range, which can be a problem for those of us that like to fill the frame with small objects. The Nikon 70-200mm f/4G VR does not have this problem..."

Before you wave your hand that you need the 2.8 version (which you'll end up shooting at f4 and above anyway:), take a look at the photos that people all over the world have taken with this lens:

Other benefits of the lens:
- For a 70-200, it is VERY small and compact.
- It focuses incredibly fast and accurately.
- Shoots handheld at much slower times thanks to great stabilization.
- Weather sealing.
- Significantly lighter weight compared to f2.8 models.
- High-quality anti-reflective coating
The lens is stabilized and can be used for both FULL-FRAME and DX Nikon cameras. (It's also perfect with the Nikon Z series - I daresay the Z takes it up a notch!)
Testing and inspection are not only welcome but necessary!
I sell the lens because I don't use it. I am open to all normal offers.
