Top-left: Marked ND16 (used for bright, clear sunny days)

Middle-left: Marked ND8 (used for partly cloudy or slightly overcast days)

Bottom-left: This is your clear MCUV glass filter or an ND4 (used primarily for lens scratch protection or light overcast conditions)

Right column slots (Empty): These slots are designed to hold the remaining pieces from the kit, which usually include a CPL (circular polarizer to eliminate water reflections), an ND32 (for extreme, harsh sun glare), and an additional ND variant.

"Sunglasses" for Your Drone: ND filters reduce the total amount of light hitting the camera sensor without shifting colors.

Smooth Cinematic Video: To get natural-looking motion blur in drone footage, pilots must follow the "180-degree shutter rule" (setting the shutter speed to double the frame rate, e.g., 1/50th of a second for 24fps). On sunny days, doing this without a filter causes massive overexposure. These filters block the extra light so you can maintain correct exposure and slow shutter speeds.
