Canon New FD 20-35 mm f/3.5 L

For sale is my Canon New FD 20-35 mm f/3.5 L in "user" condition. Selling because I'm clearing out my FD kit as I prefer my rangefinder systems.

A great option for the FD mount and honestly my favourite lens for the system, this was the world's first ultrawide angle (< 24 mm) zoom lens and it performs excellently with any film I've tried it with. Flare resistance and sharpness are top notch.

The lens is optically fine, but has some mechanical roughness. There is some dust within the lens, in accordance with its age. No signs of haze, fungus, or element separation - images are great.

The focus ring is a bit dry but turns without issue. The zoom ring is heavy from 20-26 mm and light from 27-35 mm but this doesn't affect anything. The text on the barrel has yellowed with age.

I purchased the lens without a lens cap, so I've fitted a 72-77 mm step-up ring and a Pentax 77 mm front cap that I had spare. A rear lens cap is included also.
