For sale is a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM Mark I professional super-telephoto lens.

This is the original Mark I IS version, and is being sold strictly as faulty / for repair or parts.

Condition / Fault

The lens has a fault with the diaphragm/aperture mechanism. The diaphragm is not functioning correctly, which means the lens cannot be considered fully operational.

The lens has been assessed by a repair shop, but unfortunately they have been unable to source the required replacement diaphragm part to complete the repair.

Please assume the lens requires repair and do not purchase expecting a working lens.
