Toshiba Satellite L500-1XD Dead Battery

DISREGARD the Windows-10 pic.Windows-8.1 now in its place.
Toshiba as new, unmarked. Used a few times by a user who could not take to the demands and put it away in a drawer where the battery died (and has not been replaced).
Everything works as it should, (except the battery !!!).
Dual-boot Win-8.1-Pro and Win-7-Home-Premium, each a clean install. (Windows-10-Home trialled and was fine “raw” from the DVD. Subsequent “updates” drove it unmanageable and it was dumped as a result.
Both OS versions are validated/activated with Microsoft.
Ideal for a Student-type of user.
Three-or-four install-disks included.
(Batteries readily available on-line but may be of chancey quality)
No use for. In the way. Want gone.
