Dell Inspiron Studio 1558 Laptop Windows 11
This is a gorgeous laptop from 2010 that was designed to such a high specification that, fitted with a 256gb ssd and 8gb ram it is still pretty snappy running on Windows 11 in 2026.
The Radeon ATI display quality remains amazing.
The “a” key is scuffed so is the track pad and, every so often it will not boot until you take out the battery and hold down the on switch for a count of 30 to do a hard reset, which happened with a lot of laptops of this generation, but it has been the same way for more than 10 years without getting any worse and seems quite a bit better under windows 11. The battery was replaced and is still fairly good.
Best collected because it is quite heavy and would not do well in transit.
