Vintage kids bike - Raleogh chopper
Needs work to bring it back to its former glory - was in l working order but has sustained rust over time
A cultural icon since the 1960s. The design was influenced by "chopped" motorcycles (featured in films such as The Wild One and Easy Rider) which evolved from American Dirt track racing motorcycles.
The Chopper itself featured in numerous TV series and movies throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Back to the Future. Until the BMX came along in the mid-1980s, the Chopper outsold other bikes by 6 to 1.
